Easiest way to peel a hardboiled egg?
by Debbie
What is the perfect way, one that always works, for peeling a hard boiled egg? Answer By: Aren I know Debbie, that can be challenging, there are a lot of tips on the net but this one works for me every time,it is as follows, Make sure when you place the eggs in water, they are covered with at least 2 inches of water, after boiling, immediately remove using a spoon and keep it under cold running water for 10 seconds, not more than that, the colder the water, the better. Now, this is the trick, don't brake and crack all the surface, only tap both ends twice on a hard surface (counter top). Now start peeling gently with side of your thumbs, not nails, so you can grab larger pieces of shell. Also I found this, but haven't tried it myself, let me know if you do. |
