Al Fresco pasta recipe II

Recipe yields: 4 servings.

Ingredients:

3/4 cup skim milk
1 tbl margarine or butter
1 pkt Noodle Roni Angel Hair Pasta with Herbs - (4.8 oz)
1 can white tuna in water - (6 1/8 oz) drained, flaked
(or 1 1/2 cups chopped cooked chicken)
2 med tomatoes chopped
1/3 cup sliced green onions
1/4 cup dry white wine (or water)
1/4 cup slivered almonds toasted (optional)
1 tbl chopped fresh basil
(or 1 tspn dried basil)


Directions:

* In 3-quart saucepan, combine 1 1/3 cups water, skim milk, and margarine. Bring just to a boil.

* Stir in pasta, contents of seasoning packet, tuna, tomatoes, onions, wine, almonds, and basil. Return to a boil; reduce heat to medium.

* Boil, uncovered, stirring frequently, 6 to 8 minutes. Sauce will be thin, but will thicken upon standing.

* Let stand 3 minutes or until desired consistency. Stir before serving.

* This recipe yields 4 servings.

* Comments: White wine gives great flavor.
